Excellent Hotel Experience

The team at The Level provided warm service. I had repeat encounters with Tamarind and Liza. Each team member was friendly. They seemed genuinely happy to share their resort. Keng offered suggestions and helped with bookings for my stay. He was always accessible.
During heavy rain, water came through the walls of my suite. The air conditioning unit leaked water in the main bedroom. I felt this didn't meet the expected standard of accommodation.

The hotel is set in fine gardens lined with frangipani trees. They lead to the main pool and beach.. The main pool is large enough with a direct approach to the beach. There are many places to sit and relax.

Breakfast had so much choice.. It was amazing. Evenings are quiet in the hotel. There are many bars and restaurants immediately outside the door. The hotel cleaners also did a great job..

the duplex boat suite provided ample space. the massive round bath was a special treat after a long day. the bed offered restful sleep because of the great linen and pillows!!!

the location near the beach was acceptable. i didn't mind it.
The service was inconsistent. That's for sure. some staff members seemed indifferent, like they could not care less. the room had maintenance issues. a 5-star hotel should not have these problems.

the room was spacious and very clean. it was laid out very well (i was impressed by the design). double doors led to a deck with pool access. the beach had enough sunbeds and bean bags for relaxation.
daytime reception staff were rude and unhelpful. i stood for five minutes before someone acknowledged me. the staff walked off after i explained the issue.
